Microsoft Office Self-Instructional Modules
The Microsoft Office Self-Instructional Modules (for both 2007 and 2003) are now on the district network – more specifically on the S: drive.  While this isn’t the ideal implementation for me (I’d prefer it to be a web-based anytime, anywhere solution; but due to copyright constraints, a networked solution seems like it will work well and accessing the S: drive is familiar to everyone in the district at this time). 
 
Here is how to access them:
1.    Make sure you are logged into a computer as yourself (rather than as a student).
2.    Access the PDF file by navigating to the Instructional Technology folder that is located on the S: drive (S: > Instructional Technology > Accessing the MS Training Videos.pdf), opening and reading the document. 
3.    Open the other file in the same folder (a web page) Microsoft Office Training Modules using Internet Explorer (if this is your default browser, double-clicking should work).
4.    Review the web page interface and launch the video you want. Note:  Until you click a lesson on the top-left in the player, a green bar will look like something is loading (it isn't loading anyting, just click a lesson).
5.    Use the “Evaluation” link in the web page interface to complete a short survey that I will use to evaluate your experience and the effectiveness of the modules.
